GAYAKI – The Journey of a Thousand Bandishes

Namaste! I’m writing this blog to bring together my life’s interests–Hindustani music, nature, travel, photography and writing. Through simple home recordings (no edit, no mix, no master, no fuss…just my riyaz recorded on my phone and out to you), I hope to take students, friends and listeners on a ‘home-style’ journey of my favorite compositions in Hindustani music. Some are over a hundred years old, some brand new. Each of them has a story with me that I’d love to share with you.
